Grajales Will Start Tour de Ga

february'07 070 The Jittery Joe’s Professional Cycling Team has finalized its Tour of Georgia roster and it includes climber Cesar Grajales. Cesar’s run at the top step of the podium at the Redlands Classic was derailed when he crashed in the Oak Glen stage and separated his shoulder and broke a bone in his wrist. Cesar has twice finished in the top 10 overall at the Tour of Georgia and won the Brasstown Bald stage in 2004.

“I am feeling better every day,” says Cesar, “I have done a couple of five hour rides and while my shoulder hurts a bit, I should be ready for the start next Monday.”

“I never thought he would be ready, but we saved a roster spot for him just in case,” said Jesse Lawler, Jittery Joe’s Team Director, “When he crashed in the Oak Glen stage at Redlands I thought Cesar’s whole early season was done.”

Rounding out the Bean Team’s roster for Tour of Georgia is Trent Wilson (20th overall in the 2006 edition of Tour of Georgia), Neil Shirley (KOM Champion of the 2006 Tour of Utah), Matt Shriver, Cody Stevenson, Tommy Nankervis, Austin King and Evan Elken.

Also, Jittery Joe’s is the official coffee of the Tour of Georgia. Come visit the Airstream Cafe at all of the finish line expos and have a cup of Joe!

    I will be rooting for the Bean Team the whole Tour & plan on visiting the Airstream Cafe when it’s in Macon. GO BEAN TEAM!!!!!!!!!!
